SPOILERS: My Fav things about A Scandal in Belgravia I have to get out a few things that pleased me IMMENSELY in this ep (and I will forget at least twice as many): -Mrs. Hudson’s wardrobe. No, really, have you seen that black blouse in the beginning? FUCKIN’ SUAVE. Speaking of wardrobe, GUUUUUURL HIDING THE PHONE IN YOUR BRA, GOOD CALL. -Irene Adler. Oooooooh, she was so good! So many twists. I wish she had saved herself instead of Sherlock in the end, but eeeh minor complaint, really. AMAZING. And her crop. As if the Sherlock fandom’s riding crop fetish wasn’t already bad enough XD FOREVER OUR WEAPON OF CHOICE. (the Sherlock’d thing was totally herp-a-derp, did anyone else guess that beforehand? I saw the code box and thought oh, surely not…. XDDD) -Sherlock. Sherlock apologising to Molly. Sherlock being confused and being drugged and having feelings. Playing the violin. DEFENDING/CONSOLING MRS. HUDSON. Smoking. WE SEE HIM CASUALLY EAT, EVEN. Hot damn. Also, how DELICIOUSLY SULKY was he about his boring tobacco analysis in the beginning! :D -Lestrade backstory! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (did anyone else think for a second that there were going to be Lestrade/Molly hints? Because omfg *ships ALL THE SHIPS*) -Moriarty. Now, I was a bit disappointed at how anti-climatic TGG was resolved, but he’s just such a magnificent mofo about it and him raspberry-ing that text away? AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. -John being his usual BAMF self. Nothing can sway him, fuck yeah. John cockblocking Sherlock with his “Hamish!” injection (lol). His jumper. Him and Sherlock GIGGLING IN BUCKINGHAM PALACE. -Mycroft, poor, awful, brilliant Mycroft. One second I want to slap him, and hug him the next (ALL ALONE ON CHRISTMAS D: ). I would watch a spin-off show only consisting of him and Sherlock exchanging prissy glances. No dialogue. XD -they have a term for those nights when Sherlock is in serious danger of taking drugs again and Mycroft is warning them and John and Mrs. Hudson are a team and take it seriously and it has happened before and IT IS JUST SO BRILLIANT OKAY -There was a CHRISTMAS PARTY. AND NEW YEAR’S. Sherlock played holiday-related music for those occasions and you KNOW he would hate those tunes for their ~plebeian~ simplicity, but he did it anyway for his friends 8DDDD it was all so family-esque. -The cinematography. Just. I CAN’T EVEN PICK ANYTHING OUT, IT’S BASICALLY EVERYTHING. I’m afraid I spat some water at my screen twice from bursting out laughing. To sum it up, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
