SHERLULZ

DRAMA AND LULZ AND NOTHING INBETWEEN

So how much of Sherlock’s “note” to John was real?

I mean obviously he had a plan. Was it one of his fake crys? John couldn’t see his face from down there anyway, just hear it in his voice. Was he genuinely upset and desparate at the idea of going into hiding? Possibly, but maybe not that much… hmmm.
I think he was genuinely upset (and after all it could have gone wrong and he could have actually died from the fall), but I can’t tell if he didn’t amp it up to make it look more real to John.

Edit: OKAY YOU GUYS, YOU CONVINCED ME. I AM GOING TO BURY MYSELF IN THE FIC MEME AND I DON’T EVEN KNOW. I CAN DEAL WITH THESE EMOTIONS AS MUCH AS SHERLOCK, WHICH IS TO SAY NOT AT ALL.

  2. abitofeverythingreally said: Fake, the tears were fake, sosososo fake. BC even pulled the exact same face he did in GAME when he was interrogating the car rental guy’s widow!
  3. beastieeyes23 said: He gave a clue to John in his “note.” “Keep your eyes on me, John. It’s all a magic trick,” implying that it was an illusion. (I actually screamed when John didn’t get it. D:) Anyway, that was the part of the note I found the most interesting.

  5. all-the-worlds-a-fandom said: Genuinely upset. Remember when Jim threatened to kill his friends Sherlock immediately thought of John. Of course It pained him to do what he did. He loves John (hetero or not) so very much, and was scared, which is, of course, why he called John.

a possibility that John would believe him. Believe what...said about everything being...
  7. lifeislikeaboxofemptycalories said: I feel the tears have to do with John still staying loyal to the Sherlock he know and loves…even if the words are coming from Sherlock’s mouth. Sherlock’s body react like anyone else’s would with that much love and dedication.
  8. steelwater said: Sherlock is always about not showing feelings so I think he was really very sad about what he is going to do to John because he doesn’t need to start faking sadness before he kills himself. But maybe not, Idk.
  9. bittergrapes said: I think he was mostly upset because he KNEW it would cause John severe stress and that it was breaking his heart that he had to do that to him.
